  • You’ve got a runny nose – could it be a cold, the flu, COVID, or RSV?   • Cases of COVID-19 are on the rise, but CDC data continues to demonstrate that those who are vaccinated, particularly those who received the updated booster, are not nearly as likely to die from COVID-19 as those who are unvaccinated. Unvaccinated older adults (represented by the pink and purple dashed lines in the graph below) continue to be at greatest risk for death due to COVID-19. Once again, stay up to date with vaccinations, and encourage your loved ones to do the same.

Delaware

  • Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 11, the Latin American Community Center will host a mobile clinic from 10 AM to 2 PM at 301 N. Harrison St. in Wilmington. A variety of health services will be available, including flu and COVID-19 vaccines.

  • The Central Shenandoah Health District will host events at Embrace Community Center (932 Fir Street in Waynesboro) TODAY, January 10 and on January 24 from 3 to 6 PM where COVID-19 bivalent boosters, at-home COVID tests, and other resources will be available.
