- Cases of COVID-19 are on the rise, but CDC data continues to demonstrate that those who are vaccinated, particularly those who received the updated booster, are not nearly as likely to die from COVID-19 as those who are unvaccinated. Unvaccinated older adults (represented by the pink and purple dashed lines in the graph below) continue to be at greatest risk for death due to COVID-19. Once again, stay up to date with vaccinations, and encourage your loved ones to do the same.
