Recently, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued an Emergency Use Authorization for the COVID-19 vaccine Novavax, and it has been fully approved by the CDC as a primary vaccination series for adults. Novavax will be available to unvaccinated adults and will require two doses administered three weeks apart.
