In case you missed it, a federal judge recently blocked the use of Title 42 to turn away asylum seekers at the U.S.-Mexico border because of pandemic-related public health concerns. The judge’s order will take effect on Dec. 21.
Evidence is growing that the risk of experiencing depression is higher after a coronavirus infection up to a year after recovery.

A recent study demonstrated that Latinx workers in North Carolina are disproportionately represented in workplace fatalities: Between October 2021 and July 2022, 40% of those who died at work were Latinx, while only 10% of North Carolinians are Latinx.
