Well fitted KN95 or N95 masks are most effective, and the Biden administration has promised to make 400 million N95 masks available for free at pharmacies and health centers across the U.S. beginning this week. South Carolina

  • Able South Carolina published a monthly, bilingual newsletter focusing on vaccine equity. This month’s newsletter looks at some of the most common myths about the COVID-19 vaccine and what members of the Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) community have to say about them.
  • The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control and the South Carolina Department of Education are hosting a jingle contest, Sing it to Win it! Children in Kindergarten to 12th grade in South Carolina can submit a 15 to 30 second musical jingle about the importance of getting vaccinated. Entries must be received by January 31, and entries can be in English or Spanish.
